Hello everyone! It is time for a new post, FINALLY!
Todays post will be about TeddyTales; a Teddy Bear company that has made its mission to satisfy the child-at-heart within every person.
I found out about TeddyTales while browsing Instagram one day and I quickly fell in love with the bears cute face face as well as their sweet and thoughtful packaging. However, when I went to do more research, I could not find any specific reviews or articles talking about the company at all. They do have reviews on their website which at first glance seem legitimate, but I am speaking about off the brand reviews. Because of the hushhush around the company I have decided to show you all MY bear and share what my first impressions are. Lets go!!

TeddyTales is a company by Irina Lekareva, a female russian artist. She even has a instagram @/TeddyTales_IL. I ordered my bear off of TeddyTales.com which is also linked on her page. I highly recommend only using their official website to order these teddies, because although I did see one other legitimate vendor of the bears, these cute plushies have been counterfeit before.
Now, on to the presentation and packaging. I received my package in a nice shopping-style tote bag. Inside was a heavy duty cardboard box that was adorned with cute depictions of storybook illustrations of where the bears are said to live. The box is high quality and has its own magnetic clasp.
Can you guess what was inside? It was..
Its Theo the Teddy of course!

These bears (which the company calls the Pro Series) come in a variety of sizes including small, medium and large. They also come in arrays of different colors such as white, navy, lavender, etc. I got the tan medium sized bear because the large one was out of stock and I also just wanted a classic looking teddy bear. The medium bear is a standing 30cm tall and like all of their pro/adult bears they have moveable limbs, a flocked nose and custom TeddyTale eyes.
I think the quality of the bear is amazing, I absolutely love him! He feels like a piece of art but not in a way that makes him fragile.

After untieing the shiny ribbon holding the bear inside and lifting it out of the box; I saw a small cardboard rod that turns the box into a teddy bear C L O S E T!! Is that not so cool?!
I also got some fun paper goodies with my bear in a cute little envelope. One of the things I got was a “passport” that comes with teddy bear stickers that you can use to act as the Teddys photo. I think all of the items and packaging is so creative and fun, I am absolutely in LOVE.

Its important to note that despite this being a Russian company, a lot of the items text is in chinese writing. I suspect this is because Irina outsources all production from there. I do not know this for sure but Russia is connected to China, so it makes sense. Edit: Irina has stated she lives in China and that is why.
Now you may be wondering.. “But PKK, how much does this actually cost?”
Well, the price of the medium sized bear is $59.99, which for a collector style bear is actually very decent! You can find special discounts on certain color bears on their website though; but as previously stated I really wanted the classic brown so I bought it at full market price.
They do, of course, sell a variety of clothing for all of the bear sizes too. These seem to be high quality from what I can see on the listing but I did not buy any so I can’t tell you anymore other than they seem really cute!!

In terms of clothing pricing here is this adorable outfit which is $19.99 for reference. This is a competitive price compared to chain teddy bear stores like Build-a-Bear that will sell a individual dress for $12.50 & $8.00 in-country shipping.
Overall I really am impressed with TeddyTales! The whole experience is so heartwarming with beautiful details and lovingly crafted items. You can tell that Irina is passionate about soothing everyones inner child. ♡
