Now when I tell you I was so excited to get this piece in my collection, I mean it! I had been watching for listings of these for at least a year before I finally found a set I wanted to purchase!

These are Super Smash Brothers Melee Battle Cards. It was a card game only given out in 2001 for subscribers of Nintendo’s official magazine. There are 52 cards in all, one for each stage and character. 
While these cards aren’t terribly expensive, they are obscure and hard to find. Most people including fans of the game have no idea this card game even exists!

Luckily I believe there are scans of the cards and instructions if you wish to try playing it.
